Julep Maven Unboxing | November 2016

It’s Julep time again! I swear getting these boxes reminds me how fast time moves! It feels like just last week that I reviewed my October box! Julep is a subscription box service where you are able to handpick 3 products you would like each month. You can also add on products for a discounted price. The box is $24.99/month or $19.99/month with a 3-month prepaid subscription. You can click here to use my referral link to subscribe.

Anyway, this month, I tried to stay away from getting so many nail polishes because I have wayyyyyyy too many now! But, it was hard to not get at least one because, as you all know, I’m a huge fan of their holographic nail polishes…which means I had to get one! Let’s see what else I picked out this month!

No Limits Luxe Hydrating Creme, $24.00

I was really excited about trying this product. However, I couldn’t get the pump to work on it. 😦 I reached out to Julep to replace the product. Once they do, I will review it in an individual post! 🙂

Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops, $18.00

I already use a quick dry top coat by Nails, Inc. It sells for $15 at Sephora. For the last few months, I have been contemplating getting this product just to see how it works. I always would decide against it for one reason or another…usually to get nail polish. LOL! But, this month I decided to break down and get this. I’m glad I did because I followed the instructions and applied 1-2 drops to the base of my nails 1 minute after applying my top coat and in a few minutes my nails were completely dry! No smudges, no smears, no tackiness, no nothing! Just 100% dry! I will definitely use this product every single time I paint my nails! Like the product description says, it’s a game changer!

Bombshell Nail Polish in Eliza, $14.00

This nail polish is a beautiful ocean blue holegraphic! I love the holographic effect because it is soooo sparkly and I love how the shimmer changes as the light hits your nails! Julep’s nail polishes last at least 4 days without chipping. The polishes are also 5-free and vegan friendly.

Gel Eye Glider Sharpener, $10.00

I needed a new sharpener, so I decided to use my Jules reward points to add this sharpener on to my box this month. I like how the sharpener is travel friendly because it’s not easy for this sharpener to fall apart and spill your shavings everywhere. However, with it being travel friendly, when it is time to empty the sharpener, I struggle to open the bottom part. I twist and pull and it’s just a hassle! I also don’t like how I can’t see how sharp my pencils are getting.
