I am not a big fan of anything pink to be honest. But, I received this nail polish in my February ipsy glam bag and actually kind of liked it. It wasn’t a bright pink or a pastel pink which are my least favorite shades of pink. Ick! It was a dusty rose color, which had me pretty much sold and looking forward to trying the color out. I had never heard of Trust Fund Beauty, and because of that, I was even more excited about trying this polish out.
The name of this color is “I’m Kind of a Big Deal.” The quality of this polish is really good, which is always a great thing. It lasted 5 days without chipping at all! It applied a little thick, but was still easy to apply. The color was fully opaque after two coats. I could’ve honestly gotten away with just applying one coat. I’m just a two coat kind of girl.
After applying the polish, I wasn’t sure if I really liked it on my nails. It seemed a little brighter than what I thought it would be. But, after a day of having it, I was ABSOLUTELY in love! Every time I look down at my nails, I get a feeling of pure satisfaction internally. I am actually sad about having to change my nail color.
This polish sells for $15. Click here to purchase. I’ll be trying out some new colors in the future…and maybe some of their lipsticks too!
Have you ever tried any products from this brand? Let me know!
For Christmas, one of my friends purchased two OPI nail polish gift sets from Ulta for me. I believe they were a Black Friday deal, so they are no longer available on the site. Although, I did see a few other gift sets with mini polishes, like this one. But, back to the sets I received! Each set has three mini polishes in it. One set is called “The Reds Have It” which features three different shades of red. The other set is called “Feeling Berry Fine,” which features shades in the pink/purple range.
This week, I decided to go with a polish from the “Feeling Berry Fine” collection. The color I chose is “Pedal Faster Suzi!” It is a pinkish shimmer. I am not a big fan of light pink nail polishes, but I thought I would try this one out. I thought it might surprise me and turn out to be a little darker. It’s, in fact, still very light and actually pretty sheer. I had to apply three coats to get an opacity that I could be satisfied with for a few days. I will be changing this polish before I head off to Vegas later this week! I’ll need something with a little more vibrancy to it for that trip! Stay tuned for that! Anyway, check out the polish below and let me know what you think!
My prayers have been answered! Ever since I subscribed to SquareHue in June, I have wanted to go back and purchase previous boxes. Recently, SquareHue opened an online shop that allows just that! WOOT WOOT! Unfortunately, you cannot buy the polishes individually. When they allow that, I will lose my mind! LOL! Anyway, SquareHue offered 40% off sitewide during Black Friday, so I had to indulge! It took me two days to decide on what ONE box I would gift to myself (I had to limit myself because of everything else I had purchased). I decided on the 1910 Collection because I LOVED the green polish in the collection and I did not have a green like it in my stash of polishes. The three colors in this box are Tunic 1910 (a pale coral), Kewpies 1912 (a light pink), and War Crinoline 1915 (a forest green). Each polish is a high gloss creme with no shimmer. Check out the beautiful polishes below and the swatches!
